I cannot even begin to describe how moving and magical it was to spend Shabbes with you.  Thank you for giving us a glorious new kaleidoscope through which we can study and understand and re-understand the Torah and our liturgy.

Shabbatonim/Retreats
in Synagogue and Community Settings

Andrea has brought Moving Torah to many communities as a scholar/artist in residence for retreats and shabbatonim.  Because Moving Torah can move from the performative and scholarly to the experiential and participatory, we offer something for almost everyone.  Andrea works collaboratively with you to create a weekend that will engage everyone in your community in some way.  We like to build in follow-up hours for professional and lay people who are interested in continuing Moving Torah work in their community.

Andrea was the scholar-in-residence for the 2nd annual Women's Retreat of the Pasadena Jewish Temple & Center. Andrea's thoughtful, creative and playful workshops and services moved our minds, hearts and bodies and provoked stimulating discussions among the retreat participants. Most importantly, we all had a lot of fun and very much appreciated Andrea's unique approach to Torah study. We wholeheartedly recommend Andrea as a retreat leader.
