Turn it Over!

"Ben Bag Bag says, 'Turn it over and turn it over, for everything is in it."

In this quote from Chapter 5 of Mishnah Pirke Avot, "Ethics of the Fathers," the fancifully named teacher refers to the process of learning Torah. There are many ways to translate - let alone interpret - this teaching. One of them might be, "You should read and learn Torah in as many different ways as possible - to get everything you can out of it!"

gives us the opportunity to experience Torah in many different ways. Sometimes it's intellectual, sometimes it's physical, sometimes emotional and sometimes spiritual.  Sometimes it's all of these things simultaneously!
