Moving Torah can help your institution or conference meaningfully explore and illustrate metaphors or themes at the core of your work. We can help the lay and professional leadership of your organization articulate and share the passion of their commitment to the core goals of your organization.
We identify biblical, liturgical and rabbinic texts which intersect with your institutional goals and the passion of your leadership. We then design small or large group experiences using personal story telling and movement connected to those themes and texts. To see, hear and move one another's stories in response to these texts is a creative and inspiring way to build community.
Andrea worked with the Senior Staff of Temple Judea during a staff retreat in advance of their recent building project:
Two days have passed and we're all still talking about our time with you. At our closing sessions as we listed how we learned and grew, we realized how many lessons we took away from your session. So, on behalf of all of us, let me express my gratitude for your important work. You pushed us, helped us feel comfortable, helped us grow. Thank you so much!
Rabbi Donald Goor, Senior Rabbi Temple Judea, Tarzana California
Additionally, Andrea's solo performance, Cutting My Hair in Jerusalem is deeply meaningful "edutainment" for Jewish conferences and retreats. It opens wide-range of discussions central to the Jewish community; we can design an audience discussion geared toward the theme of your conference or professional retreat.
